Karin Strobos

The Dutch mezzo-soprano Karin Strobos belonged to the permanent ensemble of Opera Zuid from 2009 to 2011, and to the soloist ensemble of the Aalto-Musiktheater in Essen from 2014 to 2019. Her repertoire includes roles such as Cherubino in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Suzuki in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Hänsel in Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel and Siébel in Gounod's Faust. With Dutch National Opera, Strobos previously sang the roles of Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier (2011), Flora in La traviata (2013), Phénice in Armide (2013), Fortuna in The New Prince (2017) and Karolka in Jenůfa (2018).
