Dutch National Ballet performs at Fall for Dance in New York
This weekend (28 and 29 September), Dutch National Ballet performed Four Schumann Pieces during the Fall for Dance Festival in New York.
The Fall for Dance Festival, held annually at New York City Center, is known for its wide variety of dance styles. Each year, it showcases new works by emerging choreographers alongside performances by renowned dance companies from around the globe. This 21st edition featured international talent and attracted around 22,000 dance enthusiasts.
Dutch National Ballet performed Four Schumann Pieces, one of Hans van Manen's most popular and frequently staged works. Jacopo Tissi (Saturday) and Constantine Allen (Sunday) danced the lead role. The five couples surrounding the soloist were portrayed by Anna Ol, Jan Spunda, Qian Liu, Conor Walmsley, Luiza Bertho, Daniel Robert Silva, Maria Chugai, Leo Hepler, Erica Horwood, and Luca Abdel-Nour.
